Comedy Gold in my usage stats
Okay, last post for a little while. Promise.
I've been avoiding looking at my usage stats since I started blogging again. I know I'm gaining more readers, but it makes me a smidgen nervous thinking about which people (and how many) see what I write. Anyway, this month, I've had the most unique hits ever in the history of Kate's Ink. I mean, I didn't have this many people visiting when I actually posted real content on the front page of Kate's Ink. Now, I hide my blog (or at least don't directly link to it), and an amazing number of unique visitors find it. So, um, welcome, I guess. ^_^
Anyway, some interesting things I've found out from poking through my usage stats:
- Over 40 percent of my visitors are using Firefox. Good for you!
- This picture from my New Orleans trip is very popular.
- Webalizer is having trouble identifying your location. Apparently, every one of you lives in an unknown country of SECRETNESS.
- 25 percent of my visitors stop by between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
- And my top five search strings are: (1.) katesink johanna; (2.) brain shivers; (3.) instyle professional rate summary; (4.) johanna edwards next big thing; and (5.) little magic. perfect weekend.

I'm going through the exact same issue this bank... they are stumbling idiots. So, I pay off my MATCU Credit Card and ask the MATCU employee to close that account... seems simple enough. I go to buy gas with my MATCU Visa Debit Card (entirely different account and number from the Credit Account) and I get the "This Card is not accepted. If you wish to add this feature to your card, please contact your financial institution," so I go try the ATM and I get the same message. GREAT, I'm driving on fumes and now my debit card is being awnry. I luckily have $5 in my pocket so I can get enough fuel to get home... On the drive, I was still thinking about my card and I realized this was the first time I tried to use the Debit Card since I cancelled the Credit Card. Went to the bank and it was confirmed, the amazing employee at MATCU cancelled both cards. As if it were my fault, I have to apply for a new card... and wait 10 days for it to arrive. In the meantime, I get to be a 15 year old again... going to the bank and withdrawning my cash for the week. By the way, its been 14 days and I still havent received my card. MATCU sucks.
