To E (A: Corky's ... I think)

Corky's BBQ (or Bar-B-Q, if you go by their sign). This one almost tripped me up -- in more than one way. As a bonus, here's a pic of the wall o' famous people.

Corky's is a Memphis institution, albeit not nearly as good as Interstate BBQ. :D My favorite memory of Corky's doesn't have to do with the restaurant itself, but rather the commercial that features Robert Moye: "These are myyy ribs you've been eating all these years," or something like that. I wish I could find it on YouTube or something -- it cracks me up.

Now, I do believe you owe me a clue about yourself. And another photo clue at some point. So get crackin'. Are you writing these in bulk at once? Because that'd be the smart thing. ... As if I get a say in how you play the game. :)

That pic of Elvis in the karate suit is AWESOME!

Damn, I wish he hadn't died. I'll bet his later albums would have been just like Johnny Cash's. Could you imagine Elvis in his mid-60s being produced by Rick Rubin? Holy shit, in an alternate universe that is topping the charts RIGHT NOW.

Corky's is right
and good for you
I ate there last week
where I thought of the clue

I don't write in bulk
that would kill the fun
and as far as I'm concerned
this has only begun

so a clue about me
it's obvious you've earned
that I'm from Memphis
is all you've learned

here is the clue and it's a toughy...let me know if you need some help:

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds...
and thus I am delivered.

Is that a clue about you or a clue of something I'm supposed to photograph? Because, really, I just mailed some cookies and drill bits to Mattie and probably could've taken a picture of the box hanging out at the FedEx Kinko's drop point. Yes, cookies and drill bits. And a broken kite and some sweatpants.

:Sigh: It's true we've only just begun, and yet I move in 129 days on my anniversary! The big reveal will have to be before then.

<3 Thanks for the fun so far. <3
